Samsung Glyde

Verizon will soon have the Samsung Glyde on its shelves, with a full QWERTY keyboard that “glides” open inspiring the name. Not only is the name fitting, but it’s a heckuva lot cooler than the “Samsung U940″ title it replaced.
The Samsung Glyde is already drawing comparisons to the LG Voyager, both touch screen phones with Full Qwerty keyboards, but the Glyde slides open as opposed to the Voyager’s clam shell. The Glyde is also rumored to be more affordable (we’ll update you soon).
The Glyde is in prime position to become the top phone for text happy teens and should make a huge splash. With the recently announced “unlimited talk” plan from Verizon, the company has been making its fair share of splashes in the mobile market and the Samsung Glyde is sure to be their next big success.
In addition to the touch screen interface and full QWERTY keyboard comes a 2 Megapixel digital camera. Take a look at our Samsung Glyde Specs page for more details on the phone.
